Priority of snow removal done by Snow Pro Markham Inc. (hereinafter “ the contractor”) will be determined by the service selected by the client, and professional judgment(s) made by the Contractor.
The Contractor shall provide prompt service once the service-dictated snow accumulation trigger has been met. In the event of a major snowstorm, the Contractor shall operate as safely and promptly as the weather allows - no time guarantee.
The Client authorizes the installation of pickets by the Contractor that serve to outline the boundaries of the Client’s driveway, as well as highlight areas of difficulty. The client is responsible and should advise us immediately of any lost or broken picket. Pickets will be removed and collected by the Contractor as soon as possible following the end of the snow removal season.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any slip and/ or fall incidents. The client bears sole responsibility for the condition of the property.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any objects left on the driveway.
Cancellation Policy: The Client may only cancel their residential contract within the first 30 days and receive a full refund.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any damage done to the driveway; such as scrapes, scratches, and/or rust marks.
It is the responsibility of the Client to make sure that if any water valve caps are protruding, to contact the City of Markham at (905) 477 5530 and have a technician lower the pipe.
The Contractor shall not be responsible for any damages or inconveniences that may be caused by gravel driveways.
Liquid Deicer: Is a highly effective product in removing the bond of snow from driveways, however it doesn’t guarantee the pavement will be completely free of snow and ice specifically when temperatures are below -16 celcius.
Sloped driveways: The Client is responsible for keeping the driveway free of ice buildup by throwing down salt or other type of abrasive before every snowfall. As such, the Contractor will decide to clear the driveway or not depending on the condition of the driveway. The Contractor shall not be responsible for any damage caused by our equipment that may slide due to an icy surface.
It is the Client’s responsibility to remove the car(s) from their driveway so that the Contractor can have full access to the Client’s driveway for proper finishing. If there are vehicles in the driveway the contractor will clear the remaining area that is safely accessible by their equipment. If a client requests supplementary snow removal in the case of vehicles blocking access to clear the driveway, an additional visit can be made at a cost of $50.00+hst.
Snow Pro Markham Inc. reserves the right to cancel this contract at any given time if payment is not made within the required time frame or if the client is verbally or physically abusive to its staff.
